I think I discovered this one (well, Saor in general) in 2022. In addition to an embalming soundtrack go-to, it's definitely a cold-weather favorite. skyturtles

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

I was turned onto this project after he released ‘A Flourishing Fall in a Grain of Sand’ with Humanotone. On Sunvher there is a great blend of atmospheric/melodic black metal and post-rock/shoegaze that falls somewhere between Alcest and Agalloch. 8/10 RJ
